I'm coding a skin for a friend of mine and we are using the HTML templates. The way we are doing the macros is using the class-new-post string on the end of our description images so it would appear as either 'long-forum-image-' or 'long-forum-image-forum-new-post'. This works just fine in the two different styles on the mainboard; however, it does not work in the subforums. Even though there was a new post in the subforum, the class did not appear in there (I inspected the element to be sure).

Does the class string not work for the subforums or are we approaching it the wrong way?

Hi everyone! Me again, confused as ever.

So I am making it so that the accent color in my mini profile changes based on the group. In my style sheets I've made a code that will change the background color for each group, using -# at the end for each corresponding group. The trouble is that the colors don't show up when I plug in the group id variable in the html. I can show my codes if need be.

Can also take screenshots if need be! Please respond here with any solutions. I used this method on a different site, but that was with Black's CFS so I don't know if this is an HTML Template thing or my coding.

I've looked at previous topics and tried to figure out what's going on here, but i'm at a complete loss. Ive looked over my coding a few times but i can't seem to find any errors, plus i've installed CFS based on Blacks newest one. I still think it's something to do with my coding, but I think it'll be best to have a fresh set of eyes take a glance at it.

The forum underneath the test category has completely disappeared and the custom board structure did not install on the trash can (which only i can see for now). Whenever I inspect the page, the error directs me to the forumTitle element within the script, but I can't figure out what is wrong.

If anyone can help, please let me know!! I'm still new at coding skins so any help I can get is much appreciated.

So I'm trying to code a custom mini profile (again, it's my first one ever!) but I'm having some trouble. In my original code, I had the <!-- avatar --> tag within a div for the image. If I leave it like that, it pushes the hover down. If I close the div, it will still push the hover down OR not show up at all. I've looked at previous topics, but the only help it gave me was why it wasn't working in the first place (I tried to put the avatar tag as the background-image url, which obviously doesn't work).

this is what I want it to look like. I want to either be able to include the avatar after the mpavatar class and close it, or something like that where the avatar will then become the image that is being hovered over. Ultimately, I'm very confused.

If you need my test site, it is http://evvietesting.jcink.net though I'm moving between testing it on there and implementing it on my site where I actually have images and things to look at (but it is not the main skin's mini profile, so it won't show up).

Thanks in advance for any help you all can give!
