View Unread, not dependent on login
#
I'm sure someone has asked before, but I can't seem to find the answer, so...

The View New Posts (since your last login) option is nice. However, if you don't sit and read everything you've missed before logging out and logging back in again, the list clears itself and you have no idea what you missed.

Is there a way to set things up with a Show All Unread option, like you can do with standard phpbb boards? Something that will stay until you physically click in and read it, or say 'mark all read'?

Also, is there a way to do Show All My Topics (would pull both topics you started and ones you've participated in), with indicators showing whether or not there's a new unread post in them?

Unread/read is dependent on cookies/last session and is not saved anywhere else that can be referenced later. One alternative to this is the Active Topics list. The Active Topics list shows all of the active topics in a given time period, and it shows everything that was posted in "Today." It will not indicate "unread" posts in the scenario you listed, but the list can used to see everything so that no posts for the entire day are ever missed.
