 Anchor Tags

Basically I'm wondering is there a way to get anchor tags to work in the same topic, but on a different page? Aka on page 2?

They work fine on page 1, but not on any pages after the first.
Are you using an anchor tag in a post, and if so, in what way? Do you mean the direct link to the post, or are you fabricating your own anchor tags? Could you link to an example of one that works and, additionally, one that doesn't work? Thanks.^^

We're are using anchor tags in our member directory so people can jump down to that person to see who they play.

here is the page.

If you click on the name cookie under the quick nav it works, but if you click on the test name it doesn't? Cookie's s on page 1, test one page 2.

we are using, <a href="#NAME">Name</a*><br> in the quick name post. and <a name="NAME"></a*> in the person's post.

<a href="index.php?showtopic=5&st=15#TEST">name</a>

anchors only work on the same page. if you want them to redirect to a new page you have to add the information in front of it.
That's what I figured! Thank you both for the help tho!
