Jcink.com Forums > General Support > Help with {%birthdays} [SOLVED]

Posted by: Heaven is a Halfpipe Jul 9 2018, 10:03 PM
How to set up birthdays correctly on a custom skin? The skin I got didn't have it in their custom stats so I've been trying to build it in myself. I put in:

CODE
Today, {%birthdays} members are celebrating a birthday. {%birthdays#list}

And it's fine if there is a birthday, works as expected, (though the names are bunched together with no commas or spaces) but if there's not a birthday, it says Today, 0 members are celebrating a birthday. False. I'm fine with it saying there are no birthdays but how to hide the false part?

I know I've read something about CFS, is that the issue? Thing is I found some nice CFS for custom stats area. If this IS the problem, how to solve while maintaining the custom stats?

The HTML variables don't return 'False' for me.
CODE
<!-- |birthdays| -->
<!-- |birthdays_list| -->

Yes, CFS is the issue.

But you do not have to lose the template. Migrate from CFS to our HTML Template System, which is superior. No programming knowledge is required to migrate from CFS, just copying and pasting and some basic markup.

Thank you both, converted the CFS to the html template and the 'false' no longer appears. Appreciate it!
