Attention:

Support Rules and Guidelines
Before you post your support topic, please remember to:
  • Read the support forum rules.
  • Check the wiki and use search to see if your problem can be answered there first.
  • Link your board please, and make sure that the problem on your board is visible to guests or provide a test account.
  • Do not post Board Wrappers and CSS unless requested. With a board link, this is not necessary.
  • Be as descriptive as you can and use as many details as possible when describing your problem.
  • Please briefly mark any links to forums that may not be work-safe.
This will help ensure your support issue will be attended to in a quick and efficient manner.

 quick question [SOLVED]
#
Is it possible to have the board linked to a site so it's the http://link.com/forums and have the /forums page be the Jcink forums, but not necessarily redirecting? Kind of like here?

If you have a website (like we do here) then you can integrate your site layout into the forum layout if you want, similarly to what that site is doing.

It sounds like you want to be able to host custom site pages within your forum, so you can have a different index page that has nothing to do with the forum, but that is not currently possible, sorry.

I don't think you can have the board be at example.com/forums

The software does support subdomains, however.

You can't.

I think the original poster is looking for the ability to host full blown webpages on our service or within it and that is just not offered as it is beyond the scope/focus of this service.

Best I can link is the page maker which will let you create very simple pages within the forum, but not upload a website:
